This lake-side home in Nottingham, New Hampshire, had supports at the back of their home that were rusted and failing. They reached out to EFS for a free inspection of their home. Our Design Specialist met with the homeowner inspected the foundation and recommended installing Helical Piers on the back of the home and encased them in an Auxiliary Wall. We installed the Helical Piers and then set up our forms and encased the piers in concrete to lock them into place.
This homeowner in Georgetown, Massachusetts, had a foundation wall in their basement that was made up of stone and brick. The home was made in the 1800s and the homeowners have seen over the last decade that the walls seem to be flexing inward. This older brick column was failing, causing the beam and floor above to sag more and more over the years. It was also a large, bulky obstacle at the bottom of the basement steps. The brick column was replaced with a stable SmartJack, cleaner looking and offering long lasting support.
