This homeowner had sagging joists and creaky floors, and needed to upgrade the old columns in the basement. All the temporary jacks and older columns were replaced or reinforced with our SmartJack system.
This home in Center Barnstead, New Hampshire, had some foundation issues that were found during an inspection of the home. EFS was contacted to provide a solution and our Design Specialist recommended installing Geolocks to support and straighten the cracked and bowing cinder block wall. Our team proposed and installed 11 Geolock wall anchors, which fully stabilized the wall against any further bowing or movement.
This customer contacted Erickson Foundation Supportworks due to their sagging floors. They were looking for a solution to permanently stabilize their floor by replacing the failing posts within their crawlspace. Several SmartJacks were installed and the problem was solved.

He and his team installed the SmartJacks by digging out a hole under where each support would go and installed each over reinforced, engineered fill. The engineered fill is designed to spread the amount of weight the SmartJack is holding. The solution eliminated the sagging in the floor.
