This homeowner in Westford, Massachusetts, has seen water entering their basement. Their old sump pump isn't doing the job it used to, so the homeowners decided to call EFS to find a solution for stopping water from entering their basement. Our Design Specialist visited the home and recommended installing a new sump pump and perimeter drainage into the basement to prevent water from collecting in the basement.
This homeowner had noticed water accumulating in their basement, but recently it started getting significantly worse. Every time there was heavy rain, the basement would flood. This problem led to an annoying cleanup process, as well as the basement becoming filled with moisture. Signs of mold even started to arise. In order to solve this problem, the homeowner reached out to our Erickson Foundation Solutions team.
After our Design Specialist completed the home inspection, they recommended installing our SuperSump, a sump pump that disposes of unwanted water safely. This water is captured around the perimeter of the basement before having the chance to enter and filtered to the sump pump. Once the water is expelled out of the home, our IceGuard system is attached to the plumbing in order to allow water to flow even if the pipes freeze. This further guarantees that the sump pump won't overflow and flood the basement.
With this waterproof system in place, the homeowner can now rely on his basement being a dry, welcoming space.
In Westford, MA, a homeowner faced a common but troubling issue: a wet crawl space with a dirt floor, leading to unwanted humidity. Understanding the discomfort, we jumped into action to turn this nuisance around. As shown in the before photo, the challenge was evident. Yet, notice in the after photo how our solution reinstates comfort. By laying down a robust drainage matting beneath our CleanSpace liner and installing a high-efficiency SaniDry Sedona, we not only addressed the wetness but set the stage for further waterproofing with a TripleSafe liner—ready for a future pump installation. This transformation is not just about solving today’s humidity issue; it’s about sustainable comfort for the days to come.
A homeowner in Natick, Massachusetts, lived in the home that her parents had built in 1989. Around 2009 they redid the basement bathroom and the company who did the work noticed there was a void under the slab. They paid a company to come out and fill the void with cement. Now over a decade later, the problem has only gotten worse and the homeowners are looking to find a permanent solution. They reached out to EFS for a free inspection of their foundation. Our Design Specialist met with the homeowners and talked about their experience with this issue and what their goals were. After learning about the issue Mark looked at the foundation and found that the foundation had settled and a section of the concrete had cracked. Mark designed a solution for the homeowners which included installing 18 Push Piers, 80 feet of NexusPro Crack Repair, and PolyLevel.
Before, this Swansea, MA, homeowner faced an uneven sidewalk, a common problem that poses tripping hazards. As you can see in the first photo, the path needed help. We uplifted and stabilized the surface with PolyLevel and sealed the joints and cracks using NexusPro, addressing both safety and aesthetics. The after photo highlights a seamless finish that's not only safer but enhances curb appeal, embodying our dedication to durable, effective solutions and exceptional customer experiences.
