A homeowner in Newton, Massachusetts, built their home three years ago and now was having concerns about radon in the basement. The homeowners use their basement for working out, and watching movies, and have a bedroom down there for the in-laws when they come to visit. They recently had the home tested for radon and found that the radon levels in the home were around 8 pCi/L. The homeowners decided to call EFS for a free inspection, and our design specialist recommended installing a radon mitigation system to reduce the levels of radon in their home.
