A homeowner in Center Ossipee, New Hampshire, has owned this home since the 1970s as a second home. Now they decided to make this home their primary residence and they wanted to test to see what the radon levels were. The homeowners tested the radon levels in their home and the results were around 37 pCi/L. The homeowners decided to call EFS for a free inspection, and our design specialist recommended installing a radon mitigation system with 2 extraction points.
A recently built home in Conway, New Hampshire has radon levels between 24-28 pCi/L. Erickson Foundation Solutions installed a radon mitigation system into the home to reduce the radon levels.
A new home that was built in May 2023 was tested for radon. The results of the test averaged 21.3 pCi/L which is high. After the homeowners fully moved into their new home they reached out to EFS for us to design a radon mitigation system. We designed a radon system with two extraction points to collect the most amount of radon possible. Our team installed the system and lowered the radon levels below the National Radon Defense's recommendation of 4.0 pCi/L. The owners of the home were very happy for the results of the project.
This homeowner in Dover, New Hampshire has a fully finished basement and was concerned about the radon levels in the basement. They want to have clean air in the basement so they don't have to worry about the air they breathe down there. When a radon test was taken, their levels came back as 10-11 pCi/l. These levels are considered above normal and should be brought down to below 4 pCi/l.
The homeowner's called Erickson Foundation Supportworks to see about installing a Radon Mitigation System. Paul Magowan is a Design Specialist at Erickson Foundation Supportworks; he was able to come out to the homeowner's home and look at the options of installing a Radon System. Paul designed a system for their home and then passed his design to the Crew Lead for this project, Scott Crandall. Scott and his team were able to successfully install the Radon System into the homeowner's home. By doing so they reduced the radon levels to below 4pCi/l.
Overall the homeowners were happy with their radon system installation.
The picture shows what the exterior of the house looked like before and after the radon system was installed.
A homeowner in Dover, New Hampshire, had a passive system installed in the home. The homeowners received mail that said they were giving a free radon test because of Radon Awareness Month. The homeowner filled out the paperwork and was sent a free radon test. The homeowner set up the radon test and the results came back between 8.4 and 10.6 pCi/L. Our design specialist recommended installing a radon fan on their passive radon system.
