A homeowner in Auburndale, Massachusetts, had grown up in this home. The home was never tested for radon in all the years they lived in the home and now the homeowner plans to use the basement more. The EFS team recommended installing a radon mitigation system in the home.
A homeowner in Manchester, New Hampshire has lived in their home for just over 2 years. When they moved into this home there was an existing ERV system and they had a radon system installed. Now the homeowners have seen water start to pool up in the basement. They reached out to EFS for a free inspection of the basement so we could solve their water issues. Our Design Specialist inspected the basement and found that water had penetrated through all 4 walls. Also during the inspection, we noticed that the ERV was old and should be replaced.
Our installation team installed a new perimeter drainage system and an Energy Recovery Ventilation System in the basement. This included 115 feet of WaterGuard, TripleSafe, 2 IceGuards, an exterior drainage line, and a new ERV.
The two systems were able to keep the basement dry and the air fresh.
