Radon Gas Mitigation Before & After Photos

Despite a test result of 2.6pCi/L, within acceptable limits, they sought to guarantee their family's safety, particularly as the basement served as a workout area. Our Design Specialist, Josh Phillips, recommended installing our radon mitigation system with a fan moisture guard and muffler. The crew started work on the project by creating an extraction point into the foundation floor. At this stage, a radon vent pipe was affixed and extended outside the home, with the radon fan mounted on the side. Additional radon pipes were then attached to the fan, extending up the exterior wall and over the roofline to prevent radon re-entry. After confirming the fan's functionality, a monometer was installed in the basement to measure any changing radon levels.

The installation of the radon mitigation system ensures that the family is protected from radon gas throughout the entire home, including the basement.

They decided to call EFS for a free inspection. Our Design Specialist dropped off a 48-hour CRM test kit before the appointment with the homeowners. Once the test was complete our Design Specialist came back to the home to review the results with the homeowners. The results averaged around 7 pCi/L so our DS recommended installing a radon mitigation system in their home.
