A homeowner in Newmarket, New Hampshire, recently purchased their home but during the inspection of their home, the inspector noted a slope in their main floor. The homeowner was concerned with the stability of the floors for future projects. They decided to call EFS for a free inspection of their floors. Our Design Specialist recommended replacing the wooden support in the crawlspace with SmartJacks.
Our team installed 11 SmarkJacks into the crawlspace to lift, level, and stabilize the floor above.
This homeowner had quite a few things that needed attention in their basement. They had support issues, bowing of walls, and water coming into the basement. They decided to call Erickson Foundation Supportworks. Design Specialist Paul Magowan came to the home to inspect what they needed. They ended up needing to install SmartJacks, a sump pump, waterproofing, and needed to dig a trench to divert water away from the home. Crew Lead Jon Provost and his team installed everything and were able to dig the trench.
The Director of Facilities at Camp Bernadette in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire has an issue with their arts and crafts building. The arts and crafts building, which was built in 1935, has a crack in the foundation wall.
A design specialist from EFS inspected the arts and crafts building. They examined the foundation wall of the building. A couple of cracks were found and one section was separating from the foundation. The design specialist recommended installing a new masonry wall on the corner of the foundation and then Geolocks down the rest of the foundation wall.
The EFS crew installed a masonry wall at the corner of the building and then secured the rest of the wall with 5 Geolocks.

Chris S. of Durham, NH was experiencing some foundational issues under their garage that caused the concrete ceiling to start to crumble. Chris called EFS to see if they could assist in fixing his garage. Design Specialist, Nate Erickson, came out to the property and inspected the garage to see what is causing the ceiling to start to crumble. Nate found that in a cellar under the garage there is a crack that is caused the foundation to weaken. The crack has weakened the foundation which has caused movement and cracked the ceiling. Nate proposed that the Erickson Crew install a galvanized sheet to cover the crumbling ceiling, then installed a couple of beams that will span the width of the garage to secure the ceiling. Then to finish it off install PolyLEVEL to stabilize and level the foundation.
Crew Lead Scott Crandall and his team came to the home and installed the galvanized sheets on the ceiling and then installed a couple of I-beams across the width of the garage.
After the sheets and I-beams were installed, a second crew came to the home. The PolyLEVEL Crew led by Nick Melo came to the home and injected PolyLEVEL into the areas that were out of level.
Chris was happy to see that his garage was structurally sound again.
