Foundation Problems Before & After Photos

A homeowner in Watertown, Massachusetts, had just moved into their home and they had their home inspected by a home inspector. The inspector recommended having the sill plate looked at by someone. The homeowners call EFS for a free inspection of their sill plate. EFS inspected the sill plate but found nothing to be concerned with. But upon examining the basement our Design Specialist found that one of the beams in the basement appeared to be sagging. We recommended installing a SmartJack under the sagging beam in the basement. 

This homeowner in Windham, NH had a crack in their foundation wall, which had been patched over the years, but still let in moisture. They needed a more permanent fix. We sealed the crack with a polyurethane injection, which expands inside the crack as a foam and reaches far into the cravice to prevent the water from coming through. The surface of the crack is then coated with an epoxy to add an extra layer of protection. This two part system guarantees no further moisture will come in through the foundation crack.

A homeowner in Tewksbury, Massachusetts, had bought a home, and the previous homeowners had the floors repaired. After 3 years, the repair the previous homeowners had installed did not last. The current homeowners decided to fix it and fix it right. They had SmartJacks and CleanSpace installed into their dirt crawlspace to eliminate the slope and also to create a moisture barrier.  

A builder in Tewksbury, Massachusetts, had contacted EFS about installing new construction Helical Piers under a foundation they were pouring in a flood zone. Matt Erickson JR. designed a plan to install the Helical Piers to the new foundation when it is poured. Matt recommended installing 9 Helical Piers under the footprint of the foundation and 11 EZ Post beneath the back porch and front steps that aren't built yet. Our team used a hydraulic drive head to drive the Helical Piers and EZ Posts into the dirt until they reached sufficient pressure. 

A homeowner in Arlington, Massachusetts, had concerns with the chimney and wall of their 100+-year-old home. The homeowners have lived in their home for 20+ years and over the past five years, they noticed chimney movement and water entering from their garage foundation wall. They decided to call EFS for a free inspection. Our design specialist recommended installing Helical Piers to add stability to the chimney.
