This homeowner was concerned with two lally columns in their garage which were beginning to show wear and tear. They reached out to our Erickson Foundation Solutions team to install SmartJack columns in place of the traditional lally column supports.
Our specialist designed the layout for the new columns, and after approval from the building department for Londonderry, we scheduled and installed the job. Installation took one day, and involved setting new concrete footings and adjustment of the posts. The new columns are built to last, giving this homeowner peace of mind that the structure above his garage is permanently supported.
After moving into their newly purchased home, these owners wished to make several upgrades and improvements. One of the first items they needed to fix were their uneven, sloping floors. The basement was full of temporary jacks and wood columns, which were not properly supporting the floor. This before and after shows the failing column supports and the SmartJack (warrantied) which replaced them.
The existing concrete pillars supporting this home's bump-out addition were sinking and leaning more and more over the years. The bump-out required more stable supports, and so EZ Posts were installed to replace the pillars.
In the before photo, you'll spot the troublesome crack that brought a homeowner in Billerica, MA, to call us. Concerned about water sneaking into their basement, they needed a trustworthy fix. Enter Erickson Foundation Solutions. As shown in the after photo, we tackled the issue by sealing the crack with FlexiSpan and then giving the area a makeover with our robust CleanSpace liner. The transformation not only fortifies the foundation against moisture but elevates peace of mind, demonstrating our dedication to providing reliable, lasting solutions and a remarkable experience for every homeowner.
A new owner of a home in Newton, Massachusetts, purchased their home about a week ago. During the pre-purchase inspection, it was brought to their attention that one of the foundation walls was bowing. This concerned the homeowners so they reached out to EFS for a free inspection of their foundation wall. Our Design Specialist met with the homeowner and examined the foundation wall. After the inspection, we recommend installing an Auxiliary Wall over the bowing wall.
Our installation team installed a 41-foot Auxilary Wall over the bowing foundation to stabilize the foundation wall.
