A homeowner of a modern-day log cabin has lived in the home for the past 10 years. About 4 years ago a neighbor built a home on the property next to theirs. The new home changed the way water drains away from the home. Shortly after the home was built they noticed that water was collecting inside their crawlspace. They call EFS for a free inspection. Our Design Specialist inspected the basement and then recommended installing SmartPipe, SuperSump, and exterior drainage to prevent the water from collecting inside the crawlspace and then pumping the water away from the foundation of the home.
In Bolton, MA, a homeowner was grappling with a humid and musty-smelling house, all due to a perpetually wet crawl space. Notice in the before photo the visible dampness and the challenge it posed. Our solution? Installing the CleanSpace system. As seen in the after photo, this transformed the area into a dry and healthy space, effectively addressing the moisture issue and banishing the musty odors. With CleanSpace, we guarantee a remarkable improvement in home comfort and air quality.
A homeowner in Harvard, Massachusetts, has a crawlspace that they would like to be encapsulated. The homeowner called EFS for a free inspection and our Design Specialist recommended encapsulating the crawlspace and installing a dehumidifier to clean up the space and control the humidity down there.
This homeowner in Hudson, Massachusetts, has cold floors above their crawlspace. They wanted to add insulation to control the temperature of the crawlspace. They called EFS for a free inspection of their crawlspace and our Design Specialist recommended installing TerraBlock, SilverGlo, CleanSpace, and Rim Joist Insulation into the crawlspace to insulate it. This solution will prevent drafts and the floor from getting cold during the wintertime.
Our team was called out to a home in Stow, Massachusetts to find a solution to a burnt-out SaniDry plug. The homeowner called EFS to book a service call with one of our Service Technicians. Our Service Tech Justin came out to the home and proceeded to address the plug on the SaniDry.
Justin found the plug of the SaniDry was plugged into a surge-protected power strip which must have shorted because it was charred when Justin showed up. Justin brought an extra power cord that works with the SaniDry and rerouted the power to a different outlet because the old plug needed to be repaired.
