Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

The owner of a late 1800s home in Exeter, New Hampshire, had reached out to EFS for an inspection of their crawlspace. They were concerned with the supports and their ability to hold up the floor system. Our Design Specialist met with the homeowners and looked in the crawlspace. They recommended replacing the supports with 3 SmartJacks and a 12-foot supplemental beam. Our team installed the new supports and the homeowners were very happy they don't have to worry about the floor system. 

A homeowner in Beverly, Massachusetts, had found mold spots in their crawlspace after living in the home since 2019. They decided to call EFS for a free inspection and our Design Specialist recommended encapsulating the crawlspace and installing a SaniDry Sedona and SmartDrain to lower the moisture levels. 

A homeowner in Ipswich, Massachusetts recently inherited their childhood home which they have lived in for 30+ years. The homeowner wanted to re-finished the basement. The homeowner decided to call EFS for a free inspection and our design specialist recommended installing Cleanspace along the walls in the basement. The CleanSpace will not allow any moisture to come through the foundation walls which will allow the homeowner to finish the rest of their basement with confidence. 

This homeowner in Acton, Massachusetts was experiencing a large crack in his brick foundation wall. The homeowner travels for business and doesn't want to worry about the problem getting worse when he is away. He decided to call EFS for a free inspection. 

Design Specialist Michael LaMalfa inspected the interior and exterior of the home. Michael confirmed that there is a large crack on the brick foundation wall. Michael explained to the homeowner that a crack this size on a brick or block foundation wall can diminish the integrity of the wall. Michael recommended demolishing the cracked wall and building a new block foundation wall. 

A homeowner in Newburyport, Massachusetts had her mother moving into the home and wanted to take the proper precautions to make sure she was safe. With a radon system already installed, they were still skeptical that the system was working as intended. In search of peace of mind, they reached out to Erickson Foundation Solutions.

Our Design Specialist, George Gouthier, performed a free home inspection. After thoroughly observing all the different areas of the home, George recommended installing CleanSpace in the crawl space and filling in the open trenched area in the basement. By installing our CleanSpace encapsulation system, moisture is kept out of the crawl space. This prevents mold, wood rot, critters, and more! After our installation crew installed the encapsulation system, they concreted the open trenched area in the basement. By sealing the area that allowed air to enter the basement through the ground, radon is a lot less likely to be an issue, especially with an already working radon system.
