Design Specialist Paul Magowan came to the home and recommended the homeowner to have a radon mitigation system installed to reduce the amount of radon in the air. Crew Lead Scott Crandall and his team came to the home to install the radon mitigation system. The team was able to install the system in only a couple of hours.
This homeowner in Nashua, New Hampshire, was experiencing some sagging on the main level of their home. In their basement, they have some lally columns supporting the main beam then they have some 2x6 pieces of wood supporting another beam. They were looking to replace the pieces of wood with actual supports. Design Specialist David Cormier came to the home and inspected the basement and confirmed that they should replace the wooden supports for more advanced structural supports. He proposed to the homeowners installing SmartJacks. Crew Lead Nick Carelli and his crew installed two SmartJacks where the wooden supports were.
This homeowner in Nashua, New Hampshire was using their basement more and more and wanted to get the radon levels tested. Design Specialist Royce Potts came to the home to drop off a CRM, which tests for how much radon is in the air. After 24 hours Royce came back and got the results from the test and they came back as above the recommended amount of 4.0 pCi/l. This homeowner in Nashua, New Hampshire was experiencing their cinder-block foundation around their garage starting to crumble. They didn't want to wait any longer to fix the issue so they call Erickson Foundation Solutions. Design Specialist John Prince came to the home and looked at the issues on their cinder-block foundation. John suggested to the homeowner they would benefit from having the Erickson team rebuilding their cinder-block foundation. Crew Lead Nick Carelli and his team came to the home, tore down the old cinder blocks, and rebuilt the foundation with new cinder blocks.
Bryanna D. of Nashua, New Hampshire had a crack in her basement since moving in 18 months ago. After a recent rainstorm water started coming in through the crack and she decided it was time to repair it. Bryanna called Erickson Foundation Solutions to see if they could repair the crack in their basement. Design Specialist Michael Bradley came to the home and inspected the crack as well as the rest of the basement. He suggested the use of a Crack Seal to stop the crack from leaking and to conceal the crack. Also, Michael suggested a Crack Monitor to see if the crack is continuing to get bigger or not.
Crew Lead Nick Melo and his team came to the home and sealed up the crack and installed the Crack Monitor.
Bryanna was relieved that the crack was sealed and that no more water would be coming into her basement.
