A homeowner in Acton, Massachusetts has lived in his home for the past 30 years and always had water enter his garage. With the situation getting progressively worse over time, water now enters the basement as well. Basement floods have caused damage to the bottom steps, forcing him to remove them. With the stress of foundation leaks becoming too much to bear, he reached out to Erickson Foundation Solutions to waterproof the basement.
Our Design Specialist, Mark Proctor, recommended installing perimeter drainage and our TripleSafe sump pump system. This captures water along the foundation walls before being exposed to the basement, and is then delivered to the sump basin, where our three-pump system pumps the unwanted water out of the home through an exterior discharge line.
This before and after photo comparison highlights our crew's ability to bury the discharge system while leaving a minimal trace of the ground being dug up. The 25' of discharge line extended to the end of the backyard, providing a safe location for water to be disposed of. IceGuard was installed to this plumbing system to prohibit water from freezing in the pipes. This prevents the sump system getting backed up, eliminating the possibility of the sump basin overflowing and filling the basement with water.
With the systems installed, this homeowner now has peace of mind that his basement will always stay dry!
A homeowner, having just moved into a new residence, emphasized the need to restore their pool deck. The concrete had shifted and become uneven due to settlement, posing hazardous trip risks. In pursuit of a company that could ensure the safety and aesthetic appeal of the pool deck, they contacted Erickson Foundation Solutions.
Our Design Specialist, Jim Meglio, recommended the use of PolyLevel and NexusPro for the restoration of the concrete deck. PolyLevel, which is a polyurethane foam, was injected beneath the concrete slabs to fill any voids and stabilize the structure. Slab jacks were employed to ensure the concrete was level. Following this, NexusPro, a silicone-based sealant, was applied to the joints and cracks to prevent future damage and movement.
Upon viewing the completed work during the final walkthrough, the homeowner was thrilled to find the pool in his new residence safe and prepared for use!

This homeowner in Hopkinton, NH had been dealing with water in their basement for years. Water was constantly leaking in through their concrete, cinderblock foundation wall.
Our team proposed and installed a complete waterproofing system to help them keep their basement permanently dry. The WaterGuard and trench drain system will collect all water entering through the walls and direct it towards the TripleSafe sump installed at the low point of the basement. The sump system also includes a battery back-up for extra security against any power outages.
