This homeowner in Hillsborough, New Hampshire, had lived in their home for the past 17 years. About a year ago the homeowners noticed an odor and moisture seeping into their home from the crawlspace. They called EFS for a free inspection and our Design Specialist met with the homeowner. Our Specialist recommended installing CleanSpace and a SaniDry Sedona in the crawlspace to address the moisture and odor concerns.
Our crew installed over 800 sqft of CleanSpace and a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to gain control of the moisture and odor down in the crawlspace.
A homeowner in Hillsborough, New Hampshire had been experiencing sinking floors in their home. In an attempt to support the structure, the homeowners put concrete blocks under the support beam. This unconventional technique did not work, so they turned to Erickson Foundation Solutions for a professional and permanent solution.
After a thorough inspection, Design Specialist Jason Vachon recommended installing SmartJacks and encapsulating the crawl space with CleanSpace. This proposal would uplift and stabilize the home, while also providing a dry crawl space. Our installation crew started by putting the SmartJacks in place. This consisted of placing the steel plates on crushed stone to create a sturdy base, attaching the steel beams to those plates, and then attaching those beams to the supplemental support beam that was installed and leveled. With the SmartJacks in place, the team could then move forward with encapsulating the crawl space with CleanSpace. This vapor barrier was applied to the entire crawl space. Finally, our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was put in place.
This solution by our team delivers stability to the entire home and a dry and insulated crawl space. The benefits of these features include leveled floors, protection from insects and critters, a comfortable living space, and better air quality. The homeowner really enjoyed the result.
The walkway at this home in Narraganset, RI had sunken several inches, and a large trip hazard had formed where it met a set of stairs. The homeowner decided it was time to get this fixed before somebody tripped and got hurt. Our team was able to lift this section of concrete several inches up using slab jacks and PolyLevel. After the lifting process, the walkway was much safer, and the homeowner had peace of mind.
This before and after series highlights a section of a concrete driveway our team repaired in Upton, Massachusetts. The driveway was riddled with cracks, and was uneven throughout the surface. Our concrete repair specialists cleaned up this corner of the driveway with a pressure washer, injected PolyLevel to lift, level, and stabilize the slab, and sealed all the cracks and joints with NexusPro. Not only was the concrete fixed (no demolition required!), but it is also protected for years to come against future settlement concerns.
This homeowner in Lunenburg wanted to level out the concrete around their inground pool. As the soil base beneath the deck settled over the years, so did the concrete it supported. This resulted in very uneven slabs and trips hazards forming throughout the deck. This before and after highlights one side of the pool, where our production team successfully lifted the concrete more than an inch to create a safer patio for this homeowner.
