A homeowner in Leominster, Massachusetts was concerned with the washout of fill under their pool deck. This created voids under the deck which led to cracks and sinking concrete. The homeowner reached out to Erickson Foundation Solutions in order to protect and permanently restore the concrete before cracking and settling became worse.
Our Design Specialist, Tom Armano, recommended using PolyLevel to lift and level the concrete. PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam that permanently fills voids. This is much more effective and cost efficient than mudjacking and replacing the concrete. NexusPro was then used to seal cracks and joins. This further waterproofs the concrete while preventing shifting and settling.
This homeowner can now enjoy her pool deck knowing that it is a safe and visually appealing space!

The owner of this home in Wakefield, RI was concerned with the uneven and sunken concrete in their backyard. The patio and pool area are a popular hang out spot for this family in the summer months, and the uneven concrete was both an eye sore and a trip hazard. Removing the concrete to replace it with something new was not an option, so the homeowner choose Erickson Foundation Solutions and our PolyLevel solution as an alternative.
PolyLevel foam was injected beneath the various sections of the slab and both raised and stabilized the concrete. The repairs took less than a day, and the homeowner has peace of mind that their backyard will be ready, and safe, for the summertime foot traffic.
