Foundation Problems Before & After Photos

A homeowner in Cambridge, Massachusetts, has lived in their home for 20 years and wanted to have the supports in their basement replaced. The homeowners decided to call EFS for a free inspection and our Design Specialist recommended installing SmartJacks into the basement to stabilize the floor system above. 

A property management group was managing a building in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The building had experienced sagging floors and some minor foundation wall cracking. The management group and the tenants decided to contact EFS for a free inspection. Our Design Specialist recommended removing all of the brick pillars in the basement and replacing them with SmartJacks. 

A homeowner in Cambridge, Massachusetts, recently had their daughter move back into their home. When she moved back in she was putting some things in the basement and noticed some deterioration of the brick and mortar in the basement. She pointed it out to her parents and they decided to call EFS for a free inspection. Our Design Specialist recommended installing SmartJacks with a Supplemental beam to add support to the floor system of the home. 

This condo complex had structural issues due to bowing walls and sagging beams in the basement. In the first photo, you can see how the wall bows out at the bottom of the wall and the sagging beams at the top. After Erickson Foundation Supportworks completed the job, you can see in the second photo the added PowerBraces and new SmartJacks that were added. With these added features, the wall is now permanently stabilized and won't ever move again.

This homeowner was remodeling their home and noticed a beam in their basement had a little crack in it. They decided to call EFS for an inspection and to find a solution for them. EFS recommended installing 1 SmartJack under each of the beams in the basement to add extra support to the basement for their remodel.
