Concrete Repair Before & After Photos

This homeowner in North Attleboro, MA was concerned with the sloping, aggregate concrete walkway at the front of their home. Near the stairs to the front door landing, from side to side one of the sections was down almost 4 inches. This was a trip hazard for family and guests at the house, and so the homeowner wanted to get it fixed for safety.

Our concrete repair team successfully installed PolyLevel, a polymer foam spray, beneath the sunken areas and were able to raise up the lower sides of the concrete. The process involved no demolition of existing concrete, which meant the homeowner was saving time and money on this project as opposed to having to replace the concrete completely. 

With the walkway raised and even, the entrance to this home is safe once again.

Before stepping into this Plainville, MA, homeowner's residence, the sight of a large, unwelcoming crack and an alarmingly sunken slab on the front walkway greeted visitors - clearly not the first impression anyone wants to make. This homeowner in Acton, Massachusetts, was experiencing water pooling in their garage after every rainstorm. The water that was coming into the garage from the driveway was causing the foundation to sink. Design Specialist Jason Furrey came to the home to inspect the homeowner's concerns. Jason confirmed that there was a leak in the roof of the garage causing water to come into the garage and settle on the garage floor. Crew Lead Nick Melo and his team came to the home and used PolyLevel to lift the sinking garage floor. 

A homeowner, having just moved into a new residence, emphasized the need to restore their pool deck. The concrete had shifted and become uneven due to settlement, posing hazardous trip risks. In pursuit of a company that could ensure the safety and aesthetic appeal of the pool deck, they contacted Erickson Foundation Solutions.

Our Design Specialist, Jim Meglio, recommended the use of PolyLevel and NexusPro for the restoration of the concrete deck. PolyLevel, which is a polyurethane foam, was injected beneath the concrete slabs to fill any voids and stabilize the structure. Slab jacks were employed to ensure the concrete was level. Following this, NexusPro, a silicone-based sealant, was applied to the joints and cracks to prevent future damage and movement.

Upon viewing the completed work during the final walkthrough, the homeowner was thrilled to find the pool in his new residence safe and prepared for use!
