This homeowner in Sandown, New Hampshire, lives in a home built in the 1940s. They have owned the house since 2019 and have water enter their basement during every rainstorm. The homeowner decided to call EFS for a free inspection of the home. Our Design Specialist Jason Vachon inspected the home and recommended replacing the current waterproofing system with our TripleSafe and Perimeter Drainage System. 

A homeowner in Sandown, New Hampshire, had purchased their late 1800s home about a year ago and had seen water enter the basement during this past winter. The homeowners planned on using the basement as storage but didn't trust it since they had seen the water down there. They reached out to EFS for a free inspection of their basement. Our Design Specialist looked at the basement and recommended installing A full perimeter drainage system and a SmartJack into the basement to prevent water from entering the basement and to stabilize the floor system of the old home. Our installation team installed over 150 feet of drainage around the basement, a sump pump, a SmartJack, and exterior drainage to protect the home from water and sagging floors.

Our Design Specialist, Nikki Burke, recommended installing ThermalDry Elite Plank Flooring to replace the moldy carpet. This wood flooring is made from inorganic material, which means it is not susceptible to water or mold damage. Insulated material creates a thermal break that will make basement floors as much as 10 degrees warmer.
