A homeowner of a 1950s home in Concord, Massachusetts, recently purchased the home in June of 2022. The previous homeowner told them that water leaked into the basement near the bulkhead. The homeowner decided to call EFS for a free inspection of their basement. Our design specialist recommended installing a perimeter drainage system in the basement to collect water entering the basement and send it to a sump pump which will push the water through the drainage line to the exterior of the home.
Our team installed WaterGuard, Trench Drain, UltraSump, IceGuard, and a SaniDry into the home.

Through regular maintenance and cleaning, the lifespan of this waterproofing system is extended for several years, ensuring the basement in this Concord home will continue to stay dry. This photo series highlights the difference after thoroughly cleaning the float which lies in the basin, and shows the significance of needing to remove debris from the system which collects over time .
