A home that was built in 2020 has some water entering into a crack in the foundation wall. The homeowner called EFS for a free inspection. A Design Specialist inspected the wall and found that in addition to the crack, the wall is also bowing inward about an inch. The Design Specialist recommended installing PowerBraces along the entire wall to stop the wall from moving any further.
A homeowner in Amherst, New Hampshire, had a damp and dirty crawlspace. The homeowner wanted to use their crawlspace to store personal belongings but couldn't because it was so dirty and damp. The homeowner reached out to EFS, and our design specialist recommended installing SmartJacks and encapsulating the crawlspace with Drainage Matting and CleanSpace.
A homeowner in Amherst, New Hampshire, was remodeling their 1700s home. They became worried about the strength and stability of their floors so they reached out to EFS for a free inspection. Our design specialist recommended installing SmartJacks to stabilize the floor. Their basement is half concrete floor and half dirt floor so the team would have to use two different footings for our SmartJacks.
A homeowner in Amherst, New Hampshire, had water entering the basement from a cold joint. The water entered the basement and overwhelmed the existing sump pump until it failed. Then the water continued to rise, causing damage to the finished basement. The homeowners call EFS for a free inspection and our Design Specialist recommended installing a perimeter drainage system and a sump pump to prevent the basement from getting damaged again.
Our production team installed 36' of WaterGuard to the base of the foundation wall and an Ultra Sump.
This new homeowner in Amherst, New Hampshire, moved into their home in late April. During the inspection, the radon levels were tested and they averaged around 11 pCi/L. The homeowner decided to call EFS to have us install a radon mitigation system into their new home. Our Design Specialist Isaac Hernandez met with the homeowners and designed a radon mitigation system for the home to lower the radon levels.
Our Installation team led by Dillon Kingsbury, began installing the system by first creating an extraction point in the basement and then feeding PVC pipe to the exterior of the home where we installed the radon fan and vented the system above the roofline of the home.
