In Mendon, MA, a commercial property was struggling with dull and cracked concrete, detracting from its curb appeal. As seen in the before photo, the disrepair was extensive, but with our expertise, we revived its appearance. We applied NexusPro and DecoShield, known for their durability and aesthetic finish. The after photo showcases the remarkable transformation – cracks filled, surfaces smoothed, and overall aesthetic vastly improved. Through our work, we not only enhanced the visual appeal but provided a lasting solution.
A homeowner in Townsend, Massachusetts set up an appointment for Erickson Foundation Supportworks to come and administer a home radon test. The test results came back at 5.0 pCi/l which is above the recommended threshold for radon in a home. A comfortable level is 4.0pCi/l or lower.
Jason Furrey was the Design Specialist for this project and after he saw the radon test come back as 5.0pCi/l he designed a Radon Mitigation System for this homeowner. After the System was designed by Jason, Scott Crandall took the designs and led his team to install the system into the home. After the radon system is installed the crew made sure that the manometer was working and that the radon levels are below 4.0pCi/l.
A homeowner of a modern-day log cabin has lived in the home for the past 10 years. About 4 years ago a neighbor built a home on the property next to theirs. The new home changed the way water drains away from the home. Shortly after the home was built they noticed that water was collecting inside their crawlspace. They call EFS for a free inspection. Our Design Specialist inspected the basement and then recommended installing SmartPipe, SuperSump, and exterior drainage to prevent the water from collecting inside the crawlspace and then pumping the water away from the foundation of the home.
Before and after look at a foundation wall crack. The crack was behind a finished wall in the home's basement, so drywall needed to be removed in order to access the crack. The foundation crack was sealed with a polyurethane injection, a foam material that quickly expands within the crack and effectively seals it all the way through. On the surface of the crack, an waterproof epoxy, NexusPro, is applied to further protect against seeping water.
This homeowner is expecting a newborn in the coming months and would like a Radon Mitigation System to bring down the 10 pCi/L radon levels. The homeowner called EFS for a free inspection. A radon mitigation system was installed into the basement to help mitigate the radon that was entering the home in time for the new baby.
