Our Design Specialist, Mark Proctor, visited the home to conduct a free home inspection. Upon inspection, Mark noticed that the existing sump pump in the home had stopped working and was leaking water. This created concern for mold growth, as well as potential basement flooding. Learning this new information, the homeowners decided to prioritize waterproofing the basement. Mark recommended installing our TripleSafe sump pump system. This system works better than a single sump pump due to the three high quality pumps all in one system. This system sits in a basin and pumps out all the water that comes into it. The first pump disposes of water at a normal rate of 1/3 horsepower. A second pump is activated at 1/2 horsepower in situations where heavy rains or melting occurs. Lastly, a third battery backup pump operates in the event of an emergency such as a power outage.
With this updated and upgraded sump pump system, this family can have peace of mind that their basement will be safe and dry. A great home starts with a strong foundation!
