A homeowner in Manchester, New Hampshire, had built a shed in their backyard about 3 years ago. The shed stores their BMW sports car and the soil under the slab has eroded. The homeowner called EFS for a free inspection of the slab under the shed. Our Design Specialist met with the homeowners and looked at the slab. They recommended installing Helical Piers and PolyLevel under the slab to stabilize and fill the void. Our team installed the project as designed and the team was able to level the slab and fill the voids so the homeowner could store their car in the shed again.
A homeowner in Manchester, New Hampshire has lived in their home for just over 2 years. When they moved into this home there was an existing ERV system and they had a radon system installed. Now the homeowners have seen water start to pool up in the basement. They reached out to EFS for a free inspection of the basement so we could solve their water issues. Our Design Specialist inspected the basement and found that water had penetrated through all 4 walls. Also during the inspection, we noticed that the ERV was old and should be replaced.
Our installation team installed a new perimeter drainage system and an Energy Recovery Ventilation System in the basement. This included 115 feet of WaterGuard, TripleSafe, 2 IceGuards, an exterior drainage line, and a new ERV.
The two systems were able to keep the basement dry and the air fresh.
