This homeowner was concerned with the concrete slab which supported the fuel tanks beside his house. Over time, the slab was sinking, and so the tanks were unlevel and unstable. This before and after highlights how PolyLevel successfully leveled and stabilized the concrete slab. The only other alternative would have been to remove the tanks, pour a new slab, and replace th tanks again. The PolyLevel solution saved this customer lots of time and money.

Radon Gas Mitigation Systems

Radon gas is colorless, odorless, and as cancer-causing as to//bacco and asbestos. Radon gas is produced from the decaying of rocks and soil and comes up from the ground into your crawlspace and basements. The way our radon mitigation systems works in a pipe collects the gases that are coming from the soil. The gas is then piped upwards where a depressurization vent forces the radon out from your home. Our radon mitigation system is completely compatible with the current waterproofing system in your home. Get in contact with us now to learn how to protect your loved ones from the harmful effects of radon gas.

Job Stories From Salisbury, MA
Waterproofing a Flooded Crawl Space in Salisbury, MA

When a Salisbury, MA homeowner discovered their crawl space filled with 2 feet of water being so close to the beach, they were understandably overwhelmed. They didn't even know a solution was possible until they saw our advertisement. That's where we, Erickson Foundation Solutions, stepped in to provide not just a solution but peace of mind.

After contacting our Customer Care team, System Design Specialist Chuck Benedict was promptly at the homeowner's residence. They provided a thorough inspection, identifying the root of the problem and recommend a comprehensive solution. The recommended fix? Integrate our CleanSpace technology alongside a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, and most importantly, install a TripleSafe Sump Pump to tackle the water issue head-on. Our dedicated production team was keen on running an efficient operation that interfered minimally with the homeowner's daily life. They lined the crawl space with CleanSpace, a durable liner that acts as a barrier to moisture and pests. The TripleSafe Sump Pump system was put in place to actively remove any water accumulation, thus preventing future flooding. In tandem, the SaniDry Sedona was installed, pulling moisture from the air and creating a dryer, healthier crawl space and overall home environment.

The result? A transformed crawl space, safeguarded against water, moisture, and mold. The previously unmanageable area beneath the house is now clean, dry, and energy-efficient, thanks to the synergy of our reliable solutions. Customer satisfaction? Through the roof: They can now enjoy a worry-free home, protected from the challenges that living close to the beach can bring. This project just goes to show that with the right team, incredible transformations are more than possible—they’re a guarantee.

Fieldstone Foundation Waterproofing in Salisbury, MA

Elanor B. of Salisbury, Massachusetts wanted to stop water intrusion in her basement. Living near the ocean, high tide would always cause basement leaks. Simply tired of the upkeep, she reached out to Erickson Foundation Solutions for a permanently dry basement.

After reaching out to our Customer Care team, an appointment with Kenneth Calabrese was scheduled to conduct a free home inspection. Upon completion of the inspection, Kenneth recommended installing WaterGuard perimeter drainage and our UltraSump sump pump. Our installation crew, led by Anthony LoCascio, began chipping out concrete around the border of the foundation to allow space for WaterGuard to be installed. Once concrete was removed, WaterGuard was installed to the fieldstone foundation. A sump basin was built at the lowest point of the foundation floor to allow for the downward flow of water to the sump pump. After the basin was created, the UltraSump was installed. The WaterGuard system is connected to the UltraSump, tested, and then cemented in place. This sump pump removes water through an exterior drainage line which disposes water safely in Elanor's backyard. IceGuard is added to this plumbing system to eliminate the possibility of water freezing in the pipe. This prevents water backup or pipes bursting.

After completing the job and a thorough cleanup process, Anthony performed a final walkthrough with Elanor to present the systems installed and answer questions that she had. She loved the final result!

Preventing Mold from Growing in the Home, Salisbury, MA

This homeowner in Salisbury, Massachusetts, has lived in their home since the mid-90s. For years they have noticed an odor in the basement of the home that was built in the 1960s. The odor wasn't very strong until one of the owners started to work from home. After working from home for a couple of months they started to notice the smell was coming up into the main floor of the home. The homeowner decided to call EFS for a free inspection of their home to help with eliminating the odor in their home. Our Senior Design Specialist Michael LaMalfa met with the homeowner and then inspected the basement to see where the odor was originating from. During his inspection, Michael found some signs in the basement that there was moisture present and that some water collects on the floors. Michael summarized that the smell that the owners were smelling was due to high humidity and mold beginning to grow. After the completion of his inspection, he recommended installing 23' of WaterGuard, a TripleSafe, CleanSpace, a SaniDry Sedona, and an Aspen Air System into the home to control the moisture inside the basement and the rest of the home. Installing this system will lower the relative humidity in the home kill mold and prevent more from sprouting.

Forever Home has a Damp and Smelly Crawlspace, Salisbury, MA

A homeowner in Salisbury, Massachusetts, has lived in their home for over 30 years. They have no plans of selling the home. Since purchasing the home they have always noticed high moisture and odor coming from the crawlspace. In 2023, they noticed the smell and the moisture was far worse this year. The homeowners decided to call EFS for a free inspection of their crawlspace. Our Design Specialist Kenny Calabrese met with the homeowner and recommended encapsulating the crawlspace with CleanSpace and also installing a SaniDry Sedona into the crawlspace to control the moisture levels in the crawlspace.

Our Installation Team led by Anthony Locascio began by removing debris from the crawlspace before we started encapsulating the crawlspace. After the debris was removed the team laid down long sheets of CleanSpace and linked them together by using a high-strength adhesive tape named CleanSpace tape. Once the team covered the floors and walls the team then moved on to install the SaniDry Sedona. With the installation of CleanSpace and the SaniDry Sedona, the homeowner can now control the humidity and eliminate the odor in the crawlspace.

The homeowners were very happy with the results of the project and are confident about staying in their forever home.

Water Flooding into Bedroom, Salisbury, MA

An owner of a 1930s home in Salisbury, Massachusetts, has seen water entering their daughter's bedroom on and off for the past 13 years. The water was coming from the mechanical room which is next to the bedroom. The homeowners decided to call EFS for a free inspection of their home. Our Design Specialist Tom recommended installing a new sump pump, a dehumidifier, and a drainage line on the outside of the home to make sure water cannot re-enter the home.

Our installation team began by installing the TripleSafe sump pump into the mechanical room. The team chipped some concrete for our basin of the TripleSafe and installed the system and plumbed it to the exterior of the home. Once to the outside of the home the team then installed an IceGuard and a 10' drainage line. After the sump was installed the team then installed our SaniDry Dehumidifier and connected the discharge line from the SaniDry to the TripleSafe.

The homeowner was very pleased with the results of the sump pump and dehumidifier being installed into the home.

CleanSpace Installation, Salisbury, MA

A homeowner in Salisbury, Massachusetts, wanted to have their crawlspace insulated. The homeowner would like to have the floors in their home not be cold anymore.  Our design specialist Michael examined the crawlspace and noticed the insulation was falling from the ceiling and recommended insulating and encapsulating the crawlspace.

Our production team led by Melvin came to the home and began cleaning out the crawlspace with his team. Once the crawlspace was cleaned out the team started laying SilverGlo insulation down in the crawlspace. After the team finished with the insulation, the team began installing the CleanSpace. The team started installing the CleanSpace on the walls after the wall they moved to install the rest onto the floors. When the team finished with the CleanSpace the team crawlspace looked completely different. With the CleanSpace and SilverGlo installed now the crawlspace won't cause cold floors in the home during the winter.

Sinking Cement Slab, Salisbury, MA

This homeowner in Salisbury, Massachusetts was experiencing the slab that supports an oil tank and two propane tanks began to sink. The homeowners have lived in this home for the past 40 years and only have just started to notice the sinking of the slab. They are concerned that if the slab is left the way it is the oil tank could tip over. The homeowners decided to call EFS for a free inspection.

Design Specialist Michael LaMalfa arrived at the home and inspected the slab to see what could be done. Michael recommended that homeowners have PolyLevel injected underneath the slab to lift and level it.

Crew Lead Chris Hanulec and his team arrived at the home and injected PolyLevel under the slab to lift and level the slab with the oil tank and two propane tanks.

Leveling an Uneven Slab, Salisbury, MA

Richard F. reached out to Erickson Foundation Supportworks due to his concerns with a settling concrete slab on his property in Salisbury, Massachusetts. The slab in question was supporting 2 propane tanks and another larger fuel tank. Over time, soil beneath the slab was eroding, causing the slab to sink and become uneven. Since the slab was responsible for the stability of the fuel tanks, this was quite troubling for Richard.

He was looking for a way to lift and level the slab, without having to disturb the tanks or fully replace the concrete slab.

Design Specialist Michael LaMalfa inspected the slab and determined PolyLevel would be the perfect fix for Richard. By injecting PolyLevel in the voids beneath the concrete slab, the surface could be leveled and the slab itself would not have to be fully replaced.

Lead Poly installer, Chris Hanulec, completed the project in half a day, and was successfully able to level and stabilize the slab for Richard. This provided some much needed peace of mind for the homeowner, and he can rest easy knowing the slab and fuel tanks are stable.
