A homeowner in Raymond, New Hampshire, lived in a home built in 2004. They recently purchased the home in June 2022, and the previous owners mentioned that the septic tank wasn't buried deep enough into the ground at the front of the house. This caused the front foundation wall to experience high pressure resulting in an inward lean as well as a horizontal crack in the foundation wall. The homeowners decided to call EFS for a free foundation inspection. Our design specialist Jason recommended installing PowerBraces to the foundation wall and using Crack Injection to seal the horizontal crack.

Our team installed 18 10' PowerBraces to the front and back foundation wall and 38' of Crack Injection into the cracks on the foundation wall.

Radon Gas Mitigation Systems

Radon gas is colorless, odorless, and as cancer-causing as to//bacco and asbestos. Radon gas is produced from the decaying of rocks and soil and comes up from the ground into your crawlspace and basements. The way our radon mitigation systems works in a pipe collects the gases that are coming from the soil. The gas is then piped upwards where a depressurization vent forces the radon out from your home. Our radon mitigation system is completely compatible with the current waterproofing system in your home. Job Stories From Raymond, NH
Crawl Space Insulation and Encapsulation in Raymond, NH

Recently, we had the pleasure of helping a homeowner in Raymond, NH, who was facing a common yet troublesome issue in their home - a damp crawl space that was starting to affect the comfort of their living space. Like many homeowners, they noticed that their floors were cold, creating an uncomfortable chill throughout their home. Understanding the urgency to address this issue, they reached out to us at Erickson Foundation Solutions for help.

From the first call, our team sprang into action. Our dedicated Customer Care team quickly set up an appointment for a home inspection to understand the depth of the problem. Our expert System Design Specialist Peter Carstean visited the home, carefully inspecting the crawl space to identify the root of the dampness and coldness. Peter explained that the moisture in the crawl space was not only making the floors cold but could also lead to bigger issues down the line if left unaddressed. To combat this, we proposed a solution that involved installing SilverGlow insulation along the crawl space's walls to wrap the area in a thermal blanket of protection. This product is specifically designed to resist the cold, ensuring that warmth stays within the home. We also recommended encasing the space in CleanSpace, a durable liner that keeps moisture out, ensuring the crawl space stays dry and clean. Our experienced production team went to work, transforming the crawlspace into a dry, insulated environment. The installation process was smooth, with our team taking great care to not only install the products efficiently but also ensure the space was clean and tidy before they left.

The outcome? A huge success. Not only is the crawl space now dry and well-insulated, but the homeowner has also noticed a significant difference in the overall comfort of their home.

Basement Waterproofing in Raymond, NH

A homeowner in Raymond, MA reached out to us at Erickson Foundation Solutions, troubled by the constant battle against water flooding their basement. This wasn't just a nuisance; it caused mold growth and damaged storage items, turning what should be valuable space into a persistent headache.

The process kicked off with our Customer Care team scheduling a visit for a comprehensive home inspection. Our appointed System Design Specialist, Matthew Robichaud arrived, assessed the situation thoroughly, and outlined a clear-cut solution to not just address, but resolve the flooding issue. Our recommended path forward included a combination of WaterGuard to intercept water at the perimeter, a TripleSafe Sump Pump to efficiently evacuate water, IceGuard to prevent backup during freezing conditions, and a SaniDry Sedona to dehumidify and purify the air. Our production team, equipped with knowledgeable foreman Cameron Hughes and skilled installers, managed the installation seamlessly. Starting with the WaterGuard, they created a minor trench along the internal perimeter to lay the innovative drainage channel. Following this, the TripleSafe Sump Pump was strategically installed to ensure that any water collected is promptly evacuated away from the basement. To address potential freezing, IceGuard was added, ensuring the system's effectiveness even in chillier months. Lastly, the installation of a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier finalized our mission by purifying and drying the air throughout.

Upon completion, not only was the work area left impeccably clean, but the transformation was immediate. Our approach prevented further water intrusion, thus eliminating the risk of mold and protecting the homeowner's belongings. Future rains came and went, but the once troubled basement remained utterly dry and mold-free, proving our effective, reliable solution.

Protecting Furnace from Basement Leaks in Raymond, NH

Recently in Raymond, NH, a homeowner reached out to us at Erickson Foundation Solutions with a pressing concern: water was entering their basement near the furnace, raising alarm over potential damage to such a crucial piece of their home's infrastructure.

Understanding the urgency of the situation, our Customer Care team swiftly scheduled a comprehensive home inspection to diagnose the problem firsthand. Our System Design Specialist, Debra Rayborn, visited the home and after a thorough inspection, pinpointed the key vulnerabilities allowing water ingress. To safeguard the homeowner's basement and, crucially, the furnace, we recommended an installation of our TripleSafe Sump Pump system alongside IceGuard. The TripleSafe Sump Pump is designed to offer triple protection, especially powerful during heavy rain or in case one pump fails, another one takes over, ensuring the basement remains dry. The addition of IceGuard was especially critical, designed to prevent blockage during freezing temperatures, a must-have safeguard for the unpredictable New Hampshire weather. Our skilled production team, including designated foreman Anthony LoCascio and several installers, got to work implementing our bespoke solution. With precision and efficiency, they installed the TripleSafe Sump Pump and IceGuard, taking care to ensure each component worked seamlessly to protect the basement from future water damage.

Soon after our intervention, the worries about water damage near the furnace became a thing of the past for this homeowner. They can now rest easy knowing their basement is equipped with a reliable, long-term solution against water ingress, protecting investments like the furnace from unforeseen damage. At Erickson Foundation Solutions, it's our mission to ensure that every customer feels the relief and satisfaction of having their home's vulnerabilities expertly addressed.

Foundation Wall Bowing Inward, Raymond, NH

A homeowner in Raymond, New Hampshire, lived in a home built in 2004. They recently purchased the home in June 2022, and the previous owners mentioned that the septic tank wasn't buried deep enough into the ground at the front of the house. This caused the front foundation wall to experience high pressure resulting in an inward lean as well as a horizontal crack in the foundation wall. The homeowners decided to call EFS for a free foundation inspection. Our design specialist Jason recommended installing PowerBraces to the foundation wall and using Crack Injection to seal the horizontal crack.

Our production team began by marking where each PowerBrace will be installed. Before they could install the PowerBraces the team had to first seal the horizontal foundation crack. The team used Our crack injection formula to seal the crack in the foundation wall. After the cracks were sealed the team began installing the PowerBraces. The foundation wall was 10' tall so our team with use our extra tall 10' PowerBraces to support the wall. To set up the PowerBraces the team first installed an L bracket a couple of inches away from the wall where each of the PowerBraces was slated to be installed. After the L bracket was installed the team used a ladder to then install the top bracket of the PowerBrace. The bracket will provide the pressure needed to support and straighten the wall. Once the bracket was installed the team then installed the 10' PowerBrace in between the L bracket and the wall and into the top bracket. After both ends were secured the team then began to tighten the top bracket of each PowerBrace to begin straightening the wall. The team installed a total of 18 10' PowerBraces to the front and back foundation walls.

The homeowners were very pleased with the results of the project and were relieved that they no longer have to worry about their foundation walls anymore.

Large Floor Sag in the Kitchen, Raymond, NH

These homeowners from Tuscan, Arizona recently purchased a home in Raymond, New Hampshire. They have put extensive money into the home so they can sell it for a profit. During the inspection after they purchased the home, the inspector noticed a large sag in the kitchen of the home. This sag was directly correlated to the support post under the home that had sunk over time. The homeowner would like to fix this problem before they begin the process of selling the home. They decided to call EFS to see if they could fix the support post and eliminate the sag in the kitchen.

Design Specialist Jason Vachon inspected the home. He measured the sag in the kitchen around 3/8". Jason looked at the supports under the home and found that the supports are just stacked concrete cinder blocks. Jason recommended installing SmartJacks under the home and jacking up the floor using the adjustable head on the SmartJack to fix the sag in the floor.

Crew Lead Tyler Oslizlo and his team arrived at the home and installed 4 SmartJacks with a supplemental beam.
