Radon Extraction Point
An extraction point was created in the foundation floor of the basement. PVC pipe was then fit to the extraction point and routed to the exterior of the home to allow radon to safely be removed from the home.

Radon Fan
Upon reaching the exterior of the home, a radon fan is installed. This fan actively extracts radon gas from the soil beneath the home's foundation, effectively preventing it from infiltrating the indoor environment.

Releasing Radon Away from Entry Points
The PVC pipe is then extended from the radon fan to above the roofline. This configuration ensures that radon gas is safely vented far from any entry points, effectively preventing its reentry into the home.

Radon Manometer
The radon manometer monitors the efficiency of the radon fan in extracting radon gas. It provides the homeowner with a visual indication that the system is functioning properly.
