Radon Extraction Point
We began the project by creating an extraction point in the concrete floor of the basement. Next, we fitted a PVC pipe to the extraction point and directed it to the exterior of the home. This setup allows radon to be extracted from the soil beneath the foundation and safely vented outside.

Additional Radon Extraction Point
Given the high radon levels in the home, an additional extraction point was necessary to ensure radon levels were minimized. The pipes from both extraction points were then merged into a single exit point, which was cored through the home's foundation.

Radon Fan
Once the PVC pipe reached the exterior of the home, we installed the radon fan. This fan actively draws radon from beneath the foundation, preventing it from seeping into the basement and the rest of the home. Additional PVC piping was then extended from the fan, rising above the roofline to ensure the safe removal of radon gas from any potential entry points.

Radon Manometer
We installed a radon manometer to measure the effectiveness of the radon fan's draw, providing homeowners with added peace of mind that their system is functioning correctly.

Foundation Crack Repair
To further prevent radon from seeping into the basement, we sealed all cracks and joints using NexusPro, a durable crack sealant.
