Radon Extraction Point
We began the project by creating an extraction point in the foundation floor, allowing a PVC pipe to pass through. This setup ensures that radon gas can be safely extracted.

Additional Radon Extraction Point
Due to the high radon levels detected during testing, an additional extraction point was required to ensure the radon levels could be reduced below the Environmental Protection Agency's recommended limit of 4 pCi/L.

Radon Fan
The PVC pipe is extended to the exterior of the home, where the radon fan is installed. This fan actively draws radon from the soil beneath the house. Additional PVC piping is then connected from the fan and extends past the roofline to safely vent the radon gas away from any entry points into the home.

Radon Manometer
Our radon mitigation systems feature a radon manometer to measure the airflow drawn by the radon fan. This provides a visual indication that the system is functioning effectively.
