Radon Extraction Point
We started work on the project by creating an extraction point in the foundation floor. PVC pipe was then fit to the extraction point and constructed to the exterior of the home. This homeowner requested that we install the pipe through the desk, which we were able to accommodate.
Radon Fan
As the PVC pipe reached the exterior of the home, the radon fan is installed to it. The radon fan actively draws radon out from the soil underneath the home's foundation. Additional PVC pipe is then installed to the fan and extends past the roofline to remove radon gas far away from any entry points of the home. This prevents radon from being able to seep into the home.
Radon Monometer
The radon monometer offers a visual representation that the radon system is working effectively. The arrow in the green box indicates that the system is drawing the optimal amount to remove radon gas, giving the homeowners further peace of mind.
