Radon Extraction Point
An extraction point was made in the basement of the home to allow for radon to be extracted from underneath the foundation. PVC pipe was fit to the extraction point and plumbed to the exterior of the home.
Radon Fan
Once the PVC pipe reaches the exterior of the home, the radon fan is installed to it. The radon fan actively draws radon from the soil underneath the foundation. Additional PVC pipe is secured to the radon fan and extends above the roofline, safely removing radon gas from any entry points of the home.
Radon Monometer
The radon monometer indicates that the system is operating correctly. When the arrow is within the green section, the radon mitigation system is drawing the optimal amount of radon gas.
