Radon Extraction Point
Our crew started work on the project by creating an extraction point in the foundation floor. PVC pipe was then fit to the extraction point and directed to the exterior of the home. This allows radon gas to be safely extracted from the soil underneath the basement, preventing it from seeping into the home.

Additional Extraction Point
With radon levels so high, an additional extraction point was needed to ensure the home would be mitigated from radon gas effectively. The PVC pipe from both extraction points are joined and then exit the basement to the exterior of the home.

Radon Fan
The radon fan is installed to the PVC pipe on the outside of the home. This radon fan is designed to actively draw radon from underneath the home's foundation. Additional PVC pipe is then constructed from the radon fan to above the roofline, safely releasing radon gas from any entry points of the home.

Radon Monometer
The radon monometer measures how effectively the radon fan is drawing radon from underneath the home. When the arrow on the system is in the green box, homeowners have a visual representation that their radon mitigation system is working appropriately, providing extra peace of mind.
