Radon Extraction Point
An extraction point was created in the foundation floor to allow PVC pipe to be fit and constructed out of the home.
Radon Fan
After the PVC pipe reaches the exterior of the home, the radon fan is installed. The radon fan draws radon gas from underneath the home's foundation, preventing the gas from seeping up into the home.
Radon Released Above Roofline
Additional PVC pipe is installed to the radon fan and surpasses the roofline. The system is designed to release radon gas far away from any entry points of the home, therefore safely channeling and removing radon gas.
Radon Monometer
To give homeowners additional peace of mind, a radon monometer is installed to measure how effective the system is drawing radon. When the arrow is in the green section of the meter, this indicates that the system is working properly.
