Radon Extraction Point
A radon extraction point was made in the foundation floor of the basement. PVC pipe was then fit to the extraction point and constructed to the exterior of the home.
Radon Fan
Once the PVC pipe reaches the outside of the home, the radon fan is installed. This system draws radon that exists in the soil underneath the home's foundation. Additional PVC goes up the siding of the house and surpasses the roofline for safe radon removal.
Radon Monometer
The radon monometer ensures that the radon mitigation system is correctly drawing radon from underneath the home's foundation. This gives homeowner's a visual representation of their system working correctly, offering peace of mind.
Custom Sump Pump Lid
The sump pump the homeowners had did not have a lid. This could potentially allow radon to seep through the foundation. To prevent this, our crew installed a custom sump pump lid.
