Radon Gas Mitigation Photo Album: Radon Mitigation System Installation in Raymond, NH

Homeowners in Raymond, NH were concerned with radon gas levels in their finished addition area of the home. Not only was this a space that was used as a guest bedroom, but their beloved dog also spent a lot of time there. In search of safety and peace of mind, they reached out to Erickson Foundation Solutions. After scheduling an appointment through our Customer Care team, System Design Specialist Bryan Barnard thoroughly inspected the home. He recommended installing our Radon Mitigation system to effectively lower radon levels. This photo gallery shows the process of how our production crew, led by Cameron Hughes, installs our Radon Mitigation system.

Radon Extraction Point

Our crew started work on the project by creating an extraction point in the foundation floor. PVC pipe was then fit to the extraction point and directed to the exterior of the home.

Radon Fan

As the PVC pipe reached the exterior of the home, the radon fan was installed. The radon fan is designed to extract radon that resides in the soil underneath the foundation. More PVC pipe was then constructed from the fan that extended above the roofline, ensuring that the gas was far away from any entry points of the home.

Radon Monometer

A monometer is connected to the system to assure that the system is operating correctly. This device measures the amount of air that is being drawn from underneath the foundation, a visual representation that the home is being safeguarded from radon gas.

Foundation Crack Sealing

All foundation cracks were sealed using NexusPro. Not only is this going to prevent further cracking in the foundation, but radon is no longer able to seep through the cracks.
