Radon Extraction Point
The team initiated the project by establishing an extraction point within the basement foundation. This allows the radon gas, which accumulates in the soil beneath the foundation, to be drawn out through PVC pipes and expelled from the house.
Radon Fan with Aesthetic Package and Muffler
The radon fan is mounted on the outside of the house. It extracts radon gas from the soil beneath the house and expels it via additional PVC pipes that extend above the roofline, preventing radon exposure within the home. An aesthetic package ensures the fan complements the house's exterior charm. A moisture guard protects the fan from water intrusion, allowing it to function efficiently. Additionally, a muffler is installed atop the pipes to reduce the noise generated by the fan.
Radon Manometer
Our radon mitigation system is equipped with a manometer, a device designed to measure the suction levels of the radon fan. This ensures homeowners can rest assured that their system is operating correctly.
