Radon Gas Mitigation Photo Album: Radon Concerns in One Year Old Home, Moultonborough, NH
A homeowner in Moultonborough, New Hampshire, moved into their newly built home about a year ago. The homeowners had radon systems installed in previous homes and wanted to test the home for radon. The homeowner called EFS about a CRM test in their home. The results of the test came back around 11.2 pCi/L, so our design specialist recommended installing a radon mitigation system in the home to control the levels of radon.
Our production team began by creating an extraction point in the slab in the basement. The team inserted PVC piping in the extraction point and fed it outside the home. Once the piping is fed outside the team installed the radon fan to the exterior of the home. The fan is then connected to the PVC and the team then vents the radon fan above the roofline of the home to make sure that any radon can re-enter the home.
