Radon Gas Mitigation Photo Album: New Homeowner had Concerns About Radon, Stoneham, MA
A recent homebuyer in Stoneham, Massachusetts, had purchased their home and quickly called to set up a radon test in their home. The homeowner had the test done in their home and the results came back at 3.8. The homeowner was a cancer survivor and would like to have as much radon as possible removed from the house. Our design specialist recommended installing a radon mitigation system in the basement.
Our production team chipped out an extraction point in the slab in the basement. After, they fed a series of PVC pipes through to the outside of the home. The team then installed a radon fan and connected the PVC pipes to it. After the fan, the team used more piping to vent the radon system above the roofline of the home to make sure no radon could re-enter.

The radon fan will be installed on the corner of the home.
Radon Pipe
The team created a radon extraction point in the basement to collect radon-filled air from underneath the home. The radon pipe will collect the radon and send it through the pipe to the outside of the house.
Radon Fan Installed
The team installed the radon fan on the exterior of the home and vented the radon system above the roofline.
