Radon Gas Mitigation Photo Album: Radon Mitigation System, Dracut, MA
A homeowner in Dracut, Massachusetts, had lived in their home for the last 47 years. They now wanted to finish their basement so they can have more usable space in their home. The radon levels in the home were 2.1 pCi/L so they reached out to EFS for an inspection. Our design specialist recommended installing a radon mitigation system in their home.
Our team installed a radon mitigation system in the basement to reduce the levels of radon in the home. Our team installed the radon pipe in the corner of the basement to collect radon from below the home. The team fed the pipe through the siding of the home and connected it to the radon fan on the exterior of the home. Then the team used more PVC to vent the radon fan above the roofline to prevent radon from re-entering the home.
