Radon Gas Mitigation Photo Album: Radon Exposure Concerns, Haverhill, MA
A homeowner in Haverhill, Massachusetts, had concerns about radon in their home. A couple of months ago a neighbor had been diagnosed with cancer caused by radon exposure. The homeowner would like to have a radon mitigation system installed in their home. The homeowner also had cracks in their basement and a small section of concrete that they would like repaired. Our design specialist recommended installing a radon mitigation system and NexusPro into their home.
Our radon team installed the radon mitigation system, a new section of concrete, and NexusPro in the basement. The team started by installing the radon system. The team first created a hole in the slab to install the radon pipe into. Then they connect the radon fan to the PVC pipe and vent the rest of the pipping above the roofline of the house. After installing the radon mitigation system team installed a small section of concrete to the bottom of the stairs going into the basement. The old concrete was cracked and needed to be replaced. After the concrete was finished the team used NexusPro to seal the rest of the cracks around the basement to ensure there are no cracks that radon can seep through.
