Radon Gas Mitigation Photo Album: Radon Mitigation System and Sump Pump, Lincoln, MA
Enda Q. of Lincoln, Massachusetts was purchasing a new home for him and his family. When the home was being inspected the inspector mentioned that the radon levels were higher than normal. Enda has young kids and wanted to seek out options on reducing the radon levels in the half-finished basement. He called Erickson Foundation Solutions to schedule a free design and estimate for a mitigation system.
Design Specialist Chris Greenwood came to the home and inspected the basement to see about installing a radon mitigation system. Chris designed and proposed a double extraction radon system, a double due to the size and layout of the home. This would ensure enough of the radon would be mitigated to provide Enda and his family with quality air in their home.
Crew Lead Brendan Edwards and his team came to the home and installed the double extraction radon system into the basement to lower the radon levels to a comfortable level. The system is clean and effective, and took a single day to install.
Radon Fan Outside of the Home.
The radon fan guides radon-filled air that is collected in the radon pipes. It guides the air out of the basement into the open air where it can dissipate.
