Structural Damage
Settlement caused cracking of the foundation walls and floor, a clear sign that the home's structural integrity was at risk.
Interior Basement Trenching
Our crew started work on the project by removing sections of the foundation floor and soil. This was done to allow space for our GeoLock system to be installed.
GeoLock Rods Driven Through Foundation
The GeoLock rods were driven through the foundation and into the areas that were trenched out.
GeoLock Anchors
Once the rods are in place, the GeoLock anchors are attached and then tightened into durable soil. This stabilizes the foundation wall.
GeoLock Plates with Aesthetic Covers
The GeoLock plates are fastened on the exterior of the foundation wall, creating an inward pulling motion for a wall that was previously bowing outward. The aesthetic covers are added to the GeoLock plates to maintain the beauty of the home.
Backfill and Concrete
After the GeoLock system is installed, the soil that was once removed is then backfilled. The crew then concretes to grade level, ensuring that the basement floor is flat and can easily have flooring installed on top of it.
