Foundation Wall Crack
This foundation wall crack made the homeowner concerned for the structural integrity of the home's garage. A crack like this is a clear sign of foundation failure.
Garage Trenching
With the foundation walls bowing outward, our crew removed concrete from the garage floor so they could install the GeoLock anchors underneath, thus preventing the walls from further moving outward.
GeoLock Rods
Rods from the GeoLock system were ran from the exterior of the foundation walls to underneath the foundation floor. Once visible, the GeoLock anchors were then attached to the rods.
Tightening GeoLocks
The GeoLock plates were then installed to the exterior of the home. As they are tightened, they secure the anchors into the soil.
GeoLock Anchors
The GeoLock anchors are tightened to durable soil, providing stabilization to a once failing structure.
GeoLock Plates
The GeoLock plates are fastened tightly to the exterior of the foundation. A total of 8 GeoLocks were installed on two of the foundation walls.
Foundation Repair Backfill
With the GeoLocks in place, our installation crew backfilled the garage area that was trenched.
Support Column Installation
Our SmartJack system was installed to provide support to the upper region of the garage. Unlike other support posts, SmartJacks provide superior support and are fully adjustable.
Cement Finish
Our crews take pride in leaving a workplace just as clean, if not cleaner, than when we found it. Once the SmartJack system was installed, we cemented the area that was just backfilled, creating a level garage. This also adds even more strength and stability for the SmartJack system.
