Foundation Failure
The home's foundation wall experienced foundation failure due to settlement in part by the surrounding sand-like soil. This caused shearing to occur within the foundation wall.
Helical Pier Installation
To stabilize and lift the sunken home, we installed helical piers. Helical piers are installed at the footing of the foundation and are drilled into the ground until durable soil is found. The piers are then simultaneously pressurized to lift the home.
Additional Stabilization
Due to the nature of the soil, we recommended installing PolyLevel to further stabilize the structure. PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam designed to lift, level, and stabilize concrete.
Backfill
After installation, our crew backfilled the soil that was dug to complete the work. Our crew takes great pride in ensuring a workspace is just as clean, if not cleaner than when we arrived on site.
