Foundation Repair Photo Album: Basement is Cracking and Sloping, Hampstead, NH
A homeowner in Hampstead, New Hampshire, had cracks forming in the corner of their basement. The cracks started to form a couple of years ago and have gotten worse every year since. Our design specialist examined the basement and found in addition to the cracks the basement floor is sloped toward the back left corner of the home. The specialist explained to the homeowner that the home is settling. EFS recommended attaching Push Piers to the foundation at the back left of the home.
Our production team installed 6 Push Piers to the foundation to stabilize the foundation and prevent further settlement.
Foundation Cracked
Outside of the basement, there is a crack that was caused by the settlement.
Dirt and Concrete Removed
The dirt and concrete are removed to expose the footing of the home so our team can install Push Piers.
Push Piers Installed
The team uses a hydraulic press to push sections of high-strength rods below the foundation.
