Foundation Repair Photo Album: Stabilizing Floor for Addition on Second Floor, Merrimac, MA
Jennifer N. of Merrimac, Massachusetts wants to build an addition above the room at her house that overlooks the lake. Unfortunately, the room below doesn't have any supports in the middle. Jennifer decided to call Erickson Foundation Solutions to help determine a solution to the problem.
Design Specialist Michael Bradley arrived at the home and inspected Jennifer's home. After Michael's inspection, he recommended that Jennifer have EFS install Smartjacks, Geolocks, and Helical Piers to help stabilize for the addition above when it gets built.
Crew Lead Ed Nadreau and his team came to the home and began stabilizing the room using Smartjacks, Geolocks, and Helical Piers. The team used the Helical Piers to stabilize the exterior edge of the structure and used the Smartjack to support the interior of the home. The Geolocks were installed on a different part of the home that had a poured foundation under the home.
