Before Photo of the Damaged Wall
The main crack began at the rear of the garage, which separated the outside wall from the rest of the structure. Once this formed, the weight of the garage on the outside also began to cause settlement on that side.
Lifting with Push Piers
GeoLocks are installed at this point, and the Push Piers are ready to lift the settling structure back up a few inches.
Crack and Settlement
View of the crack in the middle of the wall, as well as the gap exposed due to the settlement on the left side of the garage.
GeoLocks and Push Piers installed
GeoLocks are first installed to prevent the bowing wall from leaning out any further. Once these are in place, Push Piers are installed beneath the footing of the foundation wall to help lift and stabilize the structure.
After View
View of the wall straightened and stabilized. The large crack is patched and sealed.
Final View
