Push Pier excavation
Although not always required, we did excavate the exterior of this house in order to attach the push piers to the bottom of the foundation footings.
Cracked drywall
Settling at the back of the house caused this crack in the drywall and foundation to form. Windows and doors in the house were also becoming stuck.
Sinking Foundation
View from the inside of the house; the foundation walls were settling and actually pulled away from the poured slab in the basement, down about an inch. Above in the house, windows and doors were getting stuck.
Push Pier bracket
View of the steel bracket which is placed under the footing of the foundation. This attaches the push pier to the foundation, a kind of 'footing' for the concrete footing.
Push Pier installation

Push Piers around the corner
The push piers were installed on both sides of the corner to equally support the foundation. Others were installed along the entire length of the back of the house.
