Deteriorating Wooden Support Post
The wooden support posts were insufficient to bear the load of the upper floors, as indicated by the bending and splitting of the posts. This structural failure resulted in the sagging of the floors above, compromising the home's overall integrity. To address this issue, we implemented a comprehensive, long-term solution designed to stabilize and elevate the floors back to their original position.

Support Post Footings
Our team commenced the project by constructing concrete footings within the basement floor. After excavating the designated sections of concrete and soil, we poured new concrete, which was subsequently reinforced with rebar for enhanced stability and strength.

Support Post Cemented into Foundation
After the concrete footings have been leveled and fully cured, the SmartJacks are positioned atop them. Subsequently, additional concrete is poured to secure the SmartJacks firmly into the foundation floor, ensuring a robust and stable support system.

Support Posts Secured to Main Beam
Our SmartJack floor stabilization system is designed for adjustability, enabling precise modifications to deliver optimal support for the home's floors. The SmartJacks were installed onto the basement beams to effectively bear the weight of the upper floors, ensuring enhanced structural integrity.

New Support Posts Completed Installation
Upon the installation of the SmartJacks, the floors are now fully stabilized. The previously sagging floors have been restored to a sturdy and secure state, ensuring both comfort and confidence in the home's structural integrity.
