Failing Support Posts
The structural supports currently in place to uphold the upper floors of the home are exhibiting signs of failure, as evidenced by the cracking and deterioration of the posts. This degradation compromises the overall structural integrity of the residence. To prevent future issues, such as floor subsidence, it is imperative to implement a long-term solution to address this critical problem.

Creating Support Post Footings
Our crew started work on the project by creating footings for our SmartJack system.

Concrete Footings for Support Posts
New concrete was poured after the removal of the old concrete and underlying soil. This new layer was reinforced with rebar to provide a robust foundation for the SmartJacks, ensuring enhanced stability and durability.

Cured Concrete Footings
The concrete is then leveled. Once the concrete cures, SmartJacks can be placed on the footings.

Cementing Support Posts into Foundation Floor
Once the bases of the SmartJacks are secured on the footings, additional concrete is poured to anchor them firmly into the foundation. This process ensures optimal support for the home, enhancing its structural stability.

Finished Support Post Installation
SmartJacks were installed on the main beam and additional joists, effectively distributing support for the floors above the basement. To ensure proper support for the other joists, supplemental beams were installed, and the SmartJacks were connected to them. With the completion of this project, the floors are now adequately supported, and the structural integrity of the home is secured for the long term.
