Old Support Posts
The old support posts installed in the home were temporary and only meant to provide momentary support for the floors. With the addition of a heavy pallet stove, a long-term solution was needed to properly support the floors above the basement.

Making Support Post Footings
To initiate the project, our team meticulously removed the concrete in the areas designated for the installation of our SmartJacks.

Concrete Support Post Footings
Concrete footings were poured and meticulously leveled to establish a robust foundation for the installation of our SmartJacks. The footings were further reinforced with rebar, enhancing their overall strength and stability.

Support Post Base Positioned on Footing
After the concrete has cured, the base of the SmartJacks are positioned on top of the footings.

Support Posts Cemented into Footings
The SmartJacks are securely anchored into the footings with cement, providing enhanced strength and support.

Support Post Attached to Main Beam
The SmartJacks are firmly attached to the main beam in the basement. The SmartJack system features adjustable components, allowing for precise calibration to achieve the optimal level of support and lift required.

Support Posts Stabilizing and Lifting Sagging Floors
The SmartJacks were installed to elevate the sunken floors by 3/8 of an inch, effectively addressing the issue of sunken and bowing floors. This intervention has restored the integrity of the foundation, ensuring long-lasting support and returning the floors to their original condition.
